  HISTORY

  All California dry country history. This Cardinal, "Anne" has been in a hanger most all of her life, obviously loved and very well treated. She has been featured in April 1991, October 2000 and October 2005 issues of Plane and Pilot as a fine example of a beautiful Cardinal. No Damage History. All records or logs are complete and well detailed since new.

  Previously owned by Frank Busch of Anheuser-Busch family. "N" number was changed in 1988 to reflect Frank's birth date and first and last initials.  As the story goes: Frank Busch was 92 yrs of age when he put the plane up for sale in Santa Paula, California. Mr. Busch was still flying but always had an instructor flying with him. His wife was very worried about him having an accident and that he would be sued if anyone was killed or injured. With the name Busch, she was worried about a deep pocket law suit. So she tried to take out a million dollar life insurance policy on him but the premiums were so high that she told him he had to sell it.  While it was up for sale, he would have his chauffeur drive him once a week to sit in the car and just look at his beautiful plane.
